Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you all. I hope you've all had a great weekend. I can't quite believe how quickly the past couple of weeks have gone but we've had a lovely time with family and friends and to be honest I'm now ready to get back into a routine.

I'm looking forward to sharing some lovely new products with you over the next couple of months as we have our new Spring/Summer catalogue launching tomorrow along with the Sale-a-Bration and remember with every £45 you spend you get to choose a lovely free item from the Sale-a-Bration booklet.

When placing your order online with me please remember to put in the January online code and at the beginning of February I will send a gift out to you.

Christmas Projects

Good Morning,

Firstly I must apologise for not posting on here for sometime. The past couple of months have been rather hectic as we have had builders and tradesmen in at home and I've spent what time I've had concentrating on my classes and workshops. I'm pleased to say that things are slowly getting back to normal and I'm looking forward to being able to share more of my projects and ideas with you in the new year.

The run up to Christmas was very busy and I think one of my favourite workshops was the one where we made our Christmas Wreath and Collage. It was a lovely although very busy day and the class was a great success.

Fairy Celebration - Birthday Card

Hello and welcome back to my blog.
As promised yesterday, today I'm sharing the birthday card I made or our Granddaughter last week.
She really liked the gift set I made for her and no doubt she will try making something similar herself.

I really enjoy using inks in my projects and they can make a perfect background. For this project I blended 3 colours together for the background and I love the affect they made.

Fairy Celebration for a special little girl

Good morning and welcome to my blog.
Today I'm sharing a gift box I made for our Grand daughter for her birthday. She loves fairies at the moment so the Fairy Celebration set was perfect for what I had in mind.

  • To make the base cover a small cake board with Garden Green cardstock.
  • Then take a strip of white cardstock approx 1 1/2" wide and roll securing the end in place.
  • Then glue the bottom edge and adhere to the base.
  • Make the toadstool using the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die and Real Red cardstock.
  • Then add 1/2" circles of whisper white card and highlight the edges with Dazzling Details.
  • Now glue around the top edge of the stalk and glue the giftbox in place.
  • Cut a selection of flowers and leaves to decorate the base as desired.
  • Using the Fairy Celebration stamp set, stamp an image of choice and colour in. Carefully cut out the image and glue onto toadstool.
  • Finally add rhinestones to the centre of the flowers and highlight the flowers, leaves and fairy with Dazzling details.

I hope you have liked this project and would like to make one for yourself. There are so many things you can make using the Curvy Keepsake Box, especially for Christmas.

Tomorrow I will share the card that I made to go with the gift box.
